Pool plug stuck inside skimmer or suction line

I was hunting a leak, unfortunately, I made a mistake by trying to plug off the suction side of the pump with a smaller plug, the compressed air lodged the plug into the suction side pipe and now I can’t not get it out. Is there any chance of me getting it out without a hefty bill? Thanks

No, I do not. I tried blowing water back from pool with shop vac and the water won’t even escape through the pool pump suction side.

A shop vac doesn't have what it takes to complete your task.

As for photos, I will gladly post them once I have them. Right now, I plan to get a fish tape and see where exactly the plug is. Thanks for the comment
