Pool plaster upgrade.

I have decided to upgrade my 22 year old plaster pool to Cool Blue Pebble Sheen with Wave Azul tile. I also wanted to upgrade my pool light to color changing LED.
The contractor gave me a light guy to contact and he said the light is $2250.
I was surprised as other contractors that included the pool light listed it at $1200. Is the price crazy?
My current light stopped working in 2012. Apparently the bulb kept going out and I did not follow up on the note that if the bulb blew again I may need a new fixture.
So the light worked for 11 years, can I assume the conduit is not compressed?

If the bulb keeps going out it may just be the water seal on the lens. May not need a whole new fixture. But if you’re switching to low voltage from 120V then you may need a new fixture.
