Pool patch vs EZpatch

Anyone have real world experience of these two products? The ezpatch is nearly twice the cost of the pool patch and I’m wondering if this is a time where I should save the money or spring for the good stuff. Planning on a 55lb bucket so it’s a bigger deal than usual.

Long crack to repair after installing ~15ft of staples and some other smaller spots of worn plaster.
