Just filled last week. 18ft above ground with sand filter. Ph was high starting out got it down. Added liquid chlorine 12% but still not showing any chlorine. Don't have stabilizer available yet.

Where you able to get some stabilizer? That's important this time of year with the heat. The sun's UV will grab that FC very fast.

I did get some stabilizer but I don't have a test kit to test cya. I have picked up ph lower and ph raise powder as well as liquid chlorine 12% and pool stabilizer bulk powder. I shocked it today with 2lbs of shock to try to at least get chlorine at a testable level. I'm doing this on a shoestring budget hoping I can keep it going for the kiddos.
