Hi everyone,
Newbie here trying to open the pool for the summer. Last summer I switched mid-season from the "terrible" balanced chlorine pucks to liquid chlorine. My CYA levels were really high > 100 (reading from the TF-100 cya view tube) because I was using those pucks at first. At the end of the season, I drained my AGP to about 6" below the skimmer for the winter. Now I need to fill my pool up, plug the pump, etc.. however I'm wondering if I can test for CYA before filling it ? My reasoning behind this is if the CYA is still fairly high I don't want to fill my pool up to have to drain it again.
What do you guys think ?
Thanks,
René
