Hello Everyone! I'm quite happy to have found this website! With the knowledge I gain here, I hope I can maintain our pool in the most economical manner.
My husband and I bought a fixer-upper with a pool because having a pool was a dream of mine. The pool needed a lot of work and was not without drama, but I do love swimming, and here we are.
We were using a pool service, but I got a bad rash and decided to take measures into my own hands. We'll see if that was wise or not.
I recently attended Leslie's Pool School, but outside of learning how to backwash my filter, I'm not sure I got too much out of it. I'm currently having them check my water for free and then adjust it as they recommend. I'm hoping to find other options.
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment, but that's just because taking care of a pool is so new to me. As I do it more, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
