Good morning Everyone,

I think I am at the end of my pool liner and would like to replace it. I am starting to find small pin holes all over in the shallow end floor. I am trying to patch them but it seems like every other day I am finding a new one. Are these small pin holes OK to leave alone until next season or should I be patching them up?

Also when changing the pool liner does any one know what cement I should use to repair cracks? I was thinking of using hydraulic cement as the set time is minutes.

I really appreciate any help and advise.

thank you

if you have a vermiculite floor you can open the cracks up and get out any loose stuff and patch with same. for small hairline stuff you can use pure portland and leave it powder the groundwater will harden it next rain. you can use any mix really for small stuff but bigger is always best to match with same. you can sand vermiculite to smooth with a belt or orbital sander 60grit works well to take it down
