I need a new pool light system for my inground pool. I have never owned a pool before. I'm new to this. I haven't a clue as to what to buy. I need people's opinions on what pool lights they think are good for the money. How reliable you think they are or yours is. Is there a brand you recommend? What do you like about your light? What do you dislike? Do you wish you had bought a different system? Did you need a surge protector with your system? Who has the best warranty? Customer service? I am buying one light for my 14 x 28' rectangular pool. I have a 12v system. I want an LED system that offers a myriad of color choices and functions - with a handheld remote control. I want a system whereby if the light goes bad I don't have to buy a whole new pool lighting system. Just change the bulb. I have nothing against anything built in China. Because I think even the major brands like Hayward and Pentair are made in China. I'm open to anything. But your experience with your own lighting system over the years and your opinion of what you owned means a lot to me. So, please share your thoughts. I appreciate it. I have to get one soon so don't hesitate to respond. Thanks a heap for your input.
