For the past three years my pool light is burned out when I open my pool. I replace it, it works all season. I’m considering replacing with an led bulb. Has anyone else had this issue or have advice? GFC not popped. No water in light.

Forgive me, but I have to ask the obvious (perhaps silly) question ..... was the water level ever below the light while closed? If so, any chance power was applied to the light?

Also, any chance the light is being left on for extended periods of time during the off-season?
Hi and thank you. No, water level never under light, light never on. Power (at circuit breaker) turned off to light before closing pool and not turned back on until fully open.
