Hello guys - first time poster seeking sone advice.

Fibre glass pool installed in 2021
Notice water loss from attached spill over right away but installer ignored it.
2022- installer installed a backflow valve in the spa drain line. Didnt fix the problem
2023- found bumpy pool floor and crackd in my coping and crack in spa spill.
This time installer got a leak detection company and they confirmed crack in the main pool shell and in spa shell.
Tried to fight out with installer but he didnt care.
Finally got a lawyer involved and hit all parties in notice.
Also got a independent reviewer/ inspector check the pool.
He recommends complete removal of pool and reinstall.

Now installer and pool manufacturer are willing to fix the problem at no cost to me.

Pool manufacturer is suggesting, emptying the pool, bracing it and backfilling the pool where it has lifted /hollowed with marine grade foam ?

Being a complete novice - need advice for the experts here that should I accept the manufacturer recommendation or demand complete re-install and if turned down go for litigation.

I am already 10-15k down with lawyer fee etc. Going for litigation will probably cost 50-60k more.

Getting the whole pool done on my own dime will be 100-150k

Original pool installation cost with concrete etc was around 110-130k.

Thank you

Been actively leaking for 3 years? Where is the crack? If the pool is sitting on water saturated soil, I’d want it to dry out a bit before trying to stabilize it with foam.

If the crack is at the bottom on the middle of the pool I’d want it removed, soil correctly compacted/backfilled and pool replaced. If it’s at an edge that can be dried out fairly quick, I might give the foam a shot as long as the pool is still level.

Thanks for the reply. Gradual leak over three years that became a big leak last year. Crack is at an edge towards the deep end. Also there are cracks in the Spa
Have they identified why it cracked? Did the installer fail to do it correctly or was it a manufacturing defect?
