Pool leak, hire a leak detection/repair service?

You will need to perform the bucket test to confirm the leaking has stopped, and you’re just dealing with evaporation.

Take a 5 gallon bucket and place it on the 2nd step of your pool, fill it with water so it’s level with the water in your pool. Check the bucket in 24 hours, the 2 levels should be the same.

I checked again this morning and it’s apparent the amount of water loss is FAR less than it was.

Yeah, I thought of doing a bucket test again to see how it goes.

Like I mentioned, keeping an eye on the salt level will be telling as well.
