Hi All,

We renovated our gunite pool last spring, but there was one area about 4x4 ft where the concrete did not stay down and curled up during the winter. We also needed to do a retile of the entire pool as the tile we chose didn't work out.

So about 10 days ago, we drained it for the contractors to come and do the work. The work is going along great, concrete is patched, tile is in and grouted. The next job is to put down primer and paint. However, our overnight temps have still been in the 40's through this weekend so we didn't get to start the paint last week. The upcoming week looks good and the contractor believes we will get to paint this week, however, the highs on Wednesday are projected to be 100+ with overnight temps in the 50s to 60s. Gotta love living on the desert side of Washington.

So the question is, should I be concerned with the temperatures being so wild while the pool is empty? If so, what should I do?

thanks in advance,
Patrick
