Hey guys,

My pool guy closed the pool but didn't shut off power to the timer, so the pump went on shortly after he left. It ran dry with the lines blocked for 6-8 hours. The sand filter was set to winter mode. What kind of damage should I expect/inspect for?

It's a 1.5 hp pump, inground pool, sand filter.

Thanks!

maybe some overheated seals/bearings if there’s was no water in the lines, maybe burst seals if there was some water.
