Pool facelift, foam bottom, new liner, paint, salt system, finally a lighting question.

We bought a house with a tired pool, liner was sagging off the rails, faded and poorly installed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a foam bottom. We had planned to buy an overlap since this last liner came out of the tract, but amazon sent a beaded liner, so we put the tract back on and went with it. It was super easy to install. Spray paint updated the rails and hopefully will help protect it from salt. The pool mostly belongs to the dogs, but we love how it looks and this will help it last a bit longer.

We would like to add a low/no maintenence and safe lighting system, can anyone recommend something? We might just go with solar lights mounted to the decking, but wanted to see what you might suggest.

Great job on the face lift and liner. You could also put some kind of LED rope light under the deck edge it looks like. With it being metal wall I don't think the soft sided lights work that use magnets on either side. I have seen lights that hang over the wall for the metal wall pools.

Your pool looks wonderful. Sure you'll have plenty of enjoyment with it & the pups.

I've had good success with the Innovalite #9018 Solar powered LED light that hangs over the side. It's on its second season, which is much better than the (2) Smartpool Nitelighter multicolor units I had (total junk).
While it's not quite as bright as the halogen bulbs from the other units, it lights up our 16'x24' AGP well enough to use late into the evening.

Best of luck in finding something that works for you.
