Pool Draining Following a Rainstorm

Hi Everyone!

I wondering if anyone has to drain their pool as often as I do. We have these crazy flash-flooding storms and whenever one pops up, I inevitably have to drain the pool 2 - 3 inches. This probably happens once or twice every week or two. Is that normal or should I be concerned at the frequency?

As long as your liner isn't floating up due to the rain... Not much you can do about the weather.

Keep an eye on your cya level as that will dilute it

Yes. I have had to drain down the pool about five times so far this summer...so much so that my CYA fell to below 30 (bumped back up to 55), and my salt generator flagged low salt and I had to add another bag! (First time I have ever had to do that). I have been draining to get the water level below the skimmer...
