I have an above-ground 24' round pool that holds roughly 13,600 gallons. Sand filter.
When we uncovered our pool, the yucky water on the cover went into the pool water, which was already green (sigh).
I've brushed, checked levels, backwashed, added gallons (at different intervals) of 10% liquid chlorine, added baking soda to raise ph, but it's still blue cloudy. I REFUSE to go into a pool shop because they will just take my $$ and create more problems but I'm at my wits end!

Good call on staying out of the pool store. Now let's get you clear again.
PH is perfect for a "SLAM". A CYA of 50 requires a SLAM FC level of "20". So using only regular bleach, maintain an FC level of 20 and follow all the notes on the SLAM page (link below). You'll get that water clear before you know it. Make sure to follow every SLAM detail and don't stop until you pass all 3 SLAM criteria. Good luck!
