Waiting on my new cover that should be ready in a couple weeks and am closing my pool by myself for the first time. Seems simple enough. Could someone walk me through what I have to do? I have an Inground vinyl pool. I have a general idea of procedures such as lowering water to just below return lines and such but The only portion I’m a little concerned about is blowing the lines. Do I close off all the other handles when I blow the lines and leave the one I’m blowing open or does that lead to excess pressure? Attached are pictures of my setup (heater is out of commission until next year so ignore that part) if anyone could provide any insight it would be much appreciated also what is the black handle closest to the heater for when it comes to closin? If anyone also knows the proper fitting to connect the air hose to the specific pump I have or a possible link to an exact fitting that would also be much appreciated. This community is amazing and saved me soooo much money already I can’t thank you enough and didn’t think pool care could be this easy.
