We live in Firethorne subdivision in Katy and our pool was finally done last October, 2017. I have been meaning to post my experience but got sidetracked.
The pool process started on Labor Day of 2017, and it was finished within 30 days, which was amazing. We had an excellent pool builder with extremely good crews, plus the weather was our side.
A little bit about our pool. It's a chlorine, free-form pool with spa and 4' tall Waterfall and 2 baja ledges. The pool is 41' x 20', it's a sports pool with depth of 3'6" x 6' x 3'6". It's approximately 20,000 gallon. The spa is round and it measures 7' radius and 6" raised from the ground.
We chose Cement Formed Boulder design throughout the pool and spa.
Before deciding on Kelly O'Leary Pool & Designs, we had interviewed 8 different pool builders. What I like about Kelly is he is very flexible, he listened to what we wanted and most importantly, he was very very patient. Also, he was one of the few ones that can do Cement Formed Boulder.
He was there if not every day, every other day throughout the pool build.
The excavation crew was so smooth, they cleaned up everything real good, and even washed our driveway.
The pool took 30 days to complete and we were initially worried something would happen b/c it was so quick, but we have had zero bad experience.
It has been about 5 months and the pool is doing beautifully.
We called Kelly occasionally when we had a few questions, and he always replied to us right away. I am so glad we picked him and his crew. We are waiting for the weather to get warmer so we can enjoy the pool more often.
