Polarity Issue - Hayward T-CELL 15 - Pro-logic

About 3 years ago I had a board go our. Small little transformer on the top right.
OEM was $500+ at that time
So, I bought the same board on eBay considerably less.
Apparently these Hayward SWG’s swap polarity during the chlorinator cycle. One I installed a refinished board with a new SWG when polarity switches, everything zeros out. I can manually change the polarity and all number start back up. I can put it in super chlorinate and this issue does not occur. This is still better than a $500 PCB but does anyone know what would cause this. I make it work for me, but knowing something is off bugs me. Thanks

So if I understand correctly, when you press "+" in the diagnostic menu, everything works ok?

It is only when the automatic cycle ends that the numbers go to zero?

If so, this is by design. The current will go to zero after the cycle is complete until the next cycle starts (180 min period).

What is the current % setting?
