I have a Polaris QT Blower Model 1-460-02 1 HP 240V providing bubbles to my spa (pics below). The rubber cover is cracked. I tried some duct tape on it as a temporary fix. I found the manual and parts diagram online and the blower top is listed as part 1-400-10. However all web searches find the part unavailable and listed as obsolete.
I do find some new 460-02 blowers available for around $215 but that is expensive to just scavenge the cover. http://poolandspapartsdepot.com/polaris-air-blower-1-460-02/ It is not clear to me if Zodiac (Polaris) makes this model anymore or if there is just stock still on shelves.
I see Jandy has what looks like an equivalent 1 HP 240 V Blower PSB210 for around $150. https://www.poolzoom.com/pro-series-blower-1-0hp-240v.html
Anyone know what is the best direction to go?
1. Can I find a replacement top?
2. Buy a 460-02 and scavenge the top and save the rest for parts if other things fail or replace the entire unit?
3. Replace it with a Jandy PSB210?
Thanks for all advice.
