Hello TFP, looking for a recommendation on a robot cleaner for under $1000 Canadian Rubles. The pool store recommended the PCX 852, but I can't find any reviews on it. It comes in at $999.99. of course when I ask the pool store for under $1000 they go right for the max budget! It looks like the same design as the more expensive model but without the extreme tech. I just need it to clean well, I don't need it to be automatic, programmed, smart or anything like that. Thoughts on this product? Anyone have one and like or dislike it? If not, any recommendations on similar awesome products that fit the bill? It's for an inground, 16'x34' oval pool with stairs in the shallow end and ladder in the deep end.

Here is who we tell everyone to ask about what cleaner is best for them:
Marina Pool, Spa & Patio in the states. They have the knowledge to get you what you need AND if you buy it over the phone it is covered under full warranty!

Just purchased a Polaris PCX 852. It does everything expected ... except getting rid of dead algae. The filter is simply not fine enough to trap. Will be trying a flocculent and then vacuum to waste, which I had to do pre-robot. :(
