Polaris cleaner impeller guard removal

Does anyone know how to remove this black part?



I have a bunch of hair and plant material jamming up the impeller. My unit is a Polaris freedom but I found the part number R0895700 and it looks like it fits the EPIC line and the JCRX cleaners. I dont see a screw or anything on the top side so im wondering if the unit has to come apart or something.

Alright I found an image for another model and it works the same here, Its very tight and its the only thing holding the entire top cover on. Im good to go, hope its useful for someone else in the future.
