I feel like thermal protection is triggered it will not immediately restart when I toggle the switch. After the motor cools the Polaris will run again. I took the cleaner apart and did not find any restrictions or bad parts.
The pump motor sounds normal. I do not see any signs of leaks.
The booster pump was placed in 2016. Three years of use on a pump that’s used 2 hours per day seems excessive to me.
