plumbing valve changes double check

So i have a pool old school basic with cartiridge filter. I'm rebuilding the pump/filter area. simple setup it's presently just regular ball valves one each line and
have to hookup hose for drain (frequent in florida)

presently:

suction
- cleaner line
- skimmer line
- main drain

return
- stair areas
- wall
^ presently filter return has a t with a ball valve which will redirect to drain outlet if needed ( it's before the valves for the independent lines).

was going to change the old broken stuff to pentair valves ,

change 1, i was thinking a 3 way on the cleaner line i'm not sure yet which line is next to it but isn't it preferable to shut off the main drain line typically with a cleaner? that's how i typically run or is that simply doesn't matter.

change 2, i want to add a line to the yard for draining, should that be a separate shut off or i thought to put a 3 way on one of the returns. so instead of 6 valves would be 4 (2 straight, 2 3 ways with the 3 ways redirecting the cleaner line and return side drain).

not sure if it's preferable to have drain on a separate valve guess doesn't matter either way as any valve location can leak. Above seems ok to me but have a few too many things going on at the moment to think straight lol

thanks for any suggestion.

Post a few pictures from a few different angles so we can see what you are working with.
Be sure to label each pipe.
