Plug wall outlet for Polaris after going robotic?

Should I plug the wall outlet that attaches to my booster pump since I will no longer be using. I replaced Polaris 280 with a Warrior SE. I do have a floor system and may get slightly better pop up pressure. Not that I really need to as the new cleaner is awesome! Should I also remove the booster pump altogether?

Minimally, I'd likely remove the booster pump and use the polaris flex line to bridge the pump input to the return. I wouldn't want the unused motor to sit on the pad waiting to start leaking.

Removing all traces of the Polaris is also an option. I'd probably blow out the Polaris return line with air and then cap it inside the pool. Then cap the polaris side.

I to have a Polaris and eye the fancy cleaners, but living in the same area as you, my pool stays open year round and the Polaris keeps the pool clean all winter without having to lift a finger.

Or replumb it as a return.
