Please help with my intex easy set pool 18x48

I had a terrible time getting the ground level for this pool but finally got it and now I have a mess! It is level and has survived a few days of hard rain and kiddos playing in it. I was worried it wouldn’t stay level but it has.
My issue is the huge mess! Sand and dirt is everywhere and I don’t know how to get it cleaned up to both look decent and prevent anything happening to the bottom or stuff moving/getting under it. Here’s several pictures to show the mess.
I’m also looking for advice on upgrading the ladder. I need something better!

It doesn’t look bad! I put smooth beach pebbles around mine as a border. Used edging to keep the pebbles from getting under the edge, and more edging on outside to keep them neat. Whatever you end up doing, make sure nothing scrapes the sides.

That looks like a job for a shop vac.

And then some rocks (too large to stick to wet feet, smooth against bare feet) or maybe some kind of astroturf runners.
