Not sure if this is the right forum but saw where there were some other plaster problems posted. My pool is about 5 years old and my automation messed up and I added acid for high pH for a long period of time before I manually checked the chemical levels and found that it was too low. The sides and bottom turned black in many places and has continued to worsen, see pics.......

What will I need to do to get the plaster back to where it once was. I tried wire brushing but it didn't help much. Thanks for your response.............

The texture is all the same. The pool set for a week last summer while we were out on vacation. It was pea green soup when we returned. I immediately got my filter going and with a little shock it cleared up in a couple of days but left a lot of these black stain looking areas all over the pool. I was able to brush a lot of it off with a wire brush, however, a lot remains and is not affected by the brush. It appears it is in the pores of the surface.
