Well we are getting plaster today! Wet Edge Prism Matrix Southern Lights. Seems like my PB would be here for this momentous occasion? Guess not. Here is my question- probably too late to fix this, but we have a light (Pentair microlight) that sticks out quite a bit further than the other light. Update called my PB, he called off the plaster crew so light could be fixed. Just frustrated that I was the one who ultimately caught the issue and brought to their attention...

*OP username checks out.

Well done and belated Welcome !!!!
This is such a strange process for us. We've done a couple significant remodel projects, and I guess I'm just used to having some on-site supervision. Spoke to my PB and he said if it doesn't look good to you, they will send electrician to come recess light and we will reschedule plaster. I was pretty clear that I've never built a pool before, so I'm hoping they would be the ones to tell me what is within tolerance and what is not. Anyway, plaster guys packing up and heading out. Hopefully electrician can adjust light and we can get this done!

Well the Plaster company supervisor just showed up and confirmed the light really should be fixed it would stick out too far. He said sometime they can fix, but he would rather the electricians fix it. ALSO, he pointed out that we have a few 'leaks' where (ground water I guess) is still actively seeping thru the gunnite. He said could be from the recent rain, so he thought it was better to wait at this point and let it dry more. I asked him about the 'leaks' (his word) and he said they will treat it or seal it before the plaster, but its better for us to have it as dry as possible.
This is like the reverse of building a house- the subs we have seem really good and knowledgeable, its the GC that seems to not be catching things....

In the event anyone else has something similar going on. Here are the two lights. Light 1. Sticks out approx 1/2 an inch.
Light 2. Sticks out approx 1 and 1/2 inches.

Well happy to report my PB got this resolved quickly. Still amazed the project manager did not catch this *before* plaster sub showed up. I haven't dared to ask when plaster re-schedule will be. Fixed light below.
