SWCG requires investment and time to maintain. Why bother...sanitizing with liquid chlorine is cheaper and requires less time.

Actually the cost of bleach vs. SWG is usually a wash. Over the life of the cell, the costs end up being pretty similar. You just pay mostly up front for the SWG.
Usually SWG are desired for the convenience, less carrying and you can generally skip paying attention for a day or two without problems.
