So during my last few water tests , my phosphates have been slowly climbing over the past month. My recent reading was 300ppb about 1.5 weeks ago. However, my test today show 67ppb. Is this possible? We have had a lot of rain, not sure if this affects phosphates. I thought the only way to get lower or eliminate is with a phoshphate remover.
Any idea how it decreased?

How are you testing? If you are concerned with phosphates, which TFPC is not, then get your own phosphate test kit. And only get concerned when they go above 2000-3000 ppb, if you want to be concerned about them.

I suspect your tests where from a pool store. Their testing in not accurate. So the data does not surprise us.

Get your own proper test kit. See Pool Test Kits - Further Reading

yes pool store. so should i be measuring myself?

Also, their test detected minerals. 0.2 ppm of copper and 0.1 ppm of iron. And they recommended a product to remove them , as they can stain my liner. Is this a concern? Should I use it?

Have you added copper? Algaecides, shock with the word blue in it?
Do you have iron stains on your plumbing fixtures in the home?

no copper algaecides added. I have added A. calcium hypochlorite and B. sodium dicloro-s-triazine-trione , sodium persulfate and aluminum sulfate type shocks before. No iron stains on my fixtures either

Then there is no copper in the water. In your area I have never heard of iron either. I would not worry about them.

I'd suggest you stop adding all those strange chemicals (aluminum and persulfate) in your pool or you'll end up with chemical soup! Adding aluminum to your water will chew thru your chlorine and if you're not replenishing it daily you're inviting algae.
I'd also unplug the UV/Ozone gadget... not useful at all.
Make sure if you're going to continue to use pucks (which we do NOT recommend for routine use) that you avoid any of the CLorox Xtra Blue ones or others that contain copper. Check your labels!!!
