I am in MI and take down my pool around Labor Day. Current readings are FC 8, pH 7.7, with a little bit of green on the bottom of the pool. I don’t really want to go thru SLAM process with only a few weeks left. Any suggestions for limping along til the end would be appreciated. TIA 😁

You're at the higer side of target so I'd say bump it to minimum 10 and hold it there for the rest of the season. You also need to keep a close eye on it as something is growing... Perhaps do a OCLT and see what you realy have going on.

Vac out any green on the floor and run an elevated FC until the pool comes down. You'll be sanitary and safe to swim with clear water.

Clear water slams are usually much easier FYI. You could be done in a couple days and save using the more bleach for several weeks.
