PH continues to rise with CH at 450

H, first I want to thank all who have helped me as I was just getting started. I'm two months in now and all is going pretty well.

Here are my numbers:
FC-7
PH-8
TA-70
CH-450
CYA-30

The PH was closer to 7.9, redder than 7.8, but not quite 8.
Assuming with my TA a little high, that's going to push PH up.

From what I've read here, that not too much a problem if it doesn't go above 8, as some pools level out around 7.8.

But with my CH at 450, should I just keep adding acid until my TA comes down, too?
My city water's CH is 100.

It is supposed to rain tomorrow. Should I waste a little water and let the rain fill it some hoping to drop CH a little?

Sure, capture what rainwater you can. Be aware that it will also lower the CYA. The aeration from rain hitting the surface will also tend to drive pH up, so you need to lower that today.
