So I am still torn between an 18 foot and 21 foot pool (54") and am waiting on my HOA to see if they will allow the 21 foot. My question is would the Pentair 342001 VS Pump and the Pentair 160354 Clean & Clear RP Cartridge Filter be a good setup for either size pool? I plan on running 120 volt to the pump and use 1.5 plumbing. I know this might be a little overkill but like the saying goes "Go big or Go Home" Lol

The pump is good but the filter is really small. Depends on how often you like to clean the filter. A 200SF filter would be better.
Thanks for the reply. I am pricing the 200sf filter instead. I noticed Pentair has a Clean & Clear RP and also a Posi Clear RP. Does anyone know the difference between them? The only thing I notice is the color. I'm also thinking of adding the MasterTemp 125 heater. Looks to be a pretty good heater for the $$.
