Pentair Triton Air Bleeder Valve Leak

There is an O ring on it. I have never lubed it up before so maybe I should get a new one and start fresh.

That's where I would start as well. Use a good quality silicone or teflon based pool lube. Don't use vasoline or any other petroleum based lube, it will destroy the o-ring.

Hi Modawg2K,

I would suggest replacing the O-ring you can view the Parts Breakdown of Your Pentair Triton Filter if you want to replace the entire Air bleed valve then it would be key # 34 and if you want to replace the o-ring then it would be key #4. I hope this helps.

Thanks Patrick, pentair support on the phone told me the part number that is #34 per your example. But I didn't realize at the time that the part does not look like the clear top that I have on my current filter. Does it not matter that my current top is the clear top and this #34 part is not clear?

The top part of my filter looks like this one from your site: Pentair Body Manual Air Relief Assy Clear (273564) - INYOPools.com
