Pentair Intelliflo3 and Home App acting strange!

Does anyone know how these things actually communicate?

My brand new pump is connected thru the Home app via WIFI on my Samsung phone.
Here's a list of anomalies I've experienced in the first few weeks of installing this new pump.
  • Once - the pump was running when not scheduled. The app says Idle, but the pump is running.
  • I've had the pump stop in the middle of a scheduled cycle, only to start again just by opening the app.
  • I've seen the pump still running after the end of the scheduled cycle.
  • I've seen where I have 2 consecutive cycles scheduled, on the app, the 'next' scheduled cycle is not showing. I had to go in and 'save' the 2nd schedule again for it to showup.
  • Most of the time, things work correctly so I know my setting in the app are correct.
  • Every time I open the app, it will go from connected to offline, just for a few seconds, then show it's fine again.
My RSSI signal strength is very good to excellent. So then my questions are:

Where do the programmed schedules actually live? Are they on the phone or are they sent to memory in the pump? In other words, if my phone were to become inoperative, would the pump stop working?

If I switch to bluetooth, would I have stay in range for the pump to continue on it's schedule?

I'm sorry you haven't received any responses...haven't seen two many that connect pumps to the Home app...maybe a bump will help...
