Pebbletec - light rings? is this a warranty issue?

I've noticed that there are some light spots around the pool mainly on the bends and curves. It seems like the pebbletec is wearing funny. Pool builder is stating it is a water chemistry thing, but I check it weekly and don't believe that. My thought was that it is natural wearing and curves and corners are just harder to actually bond pebbles too.

Are you saying there are less "pebbles" in the area of concern? I do see a lighter area but it almost looks like it is a shadow.

Really appreciate the reply. I reached out to pebbletec, they claimed it was scaling. I lowered my pH a bit and it seemed to have worked quite well.
