Crew just left after acid wash and pressure wash. Starting to fill the pool. This is a complete remodel with new coping, tiles and Pebble Tec Black Pearl. It was done by Gardner pool Remodeling. Fantastic work and attention to detail. It is very refreshing to deal with a company that does it all in-house and is an Elite applicator for Pebble Tec.

Now to filling up, balancing, start-up procedure and brushing and more brushing for weeks.:D

It was the most expensive estimate. However, when you see them work, it is worth every penny. Everything done with their own crews, not sub-contractors. Inspections at every step of the way, and very professional.

Pool looks fantastic after Gardner Pools with the PebbleTec technician recommended to do a no-drain acid wash to remove some streaking. As an abundance of caution, we decided to go against the trend and decided not to use our Pool Pilot Total Control SWG. Instead, we added Intellichem to our Pentair automation panel with two tanks (one acid and one chlorine). Seems to be working great and keeping the pool balanced all the time.

Our concern with the SWG from the old finish was fighting stains, hence, did not want to chance it. Will see how it goes.
