Hello all, I have searched the thread here and I know the pavers question has been covered over and over.. but I have one more. I live in an area where specific materials are hard to come by, and it's difficult to get small orders of things like pavers. One thing that is in stock locally is 8"x16"x4" concrete blocks. Can I put two of these next to each other to make a 16"x16" platform to set the pool supports on? Thanks for any information you have.

I have the same pool as you and that is exactly what I used. They have held up great.

I would go ahead with the 4 inch blocks. We used the regular pavers and after the pool was filled....quite a few of them cracked. We are looking at draining it to fix them....sucks big time.

I also just bought the 8 x 16 x 4 solid concrete blocks. Lining them up side-by-side for each leg for my 12 x 24 Intex.

I'm having trouble finding 16x8x4 inch solid concrete blocks in my neck of the woods. However I can find 16x8x2 inch solid blocks. Does anyone think there would be an issue if I lay 4 of those down? What I would do is lay the first two parallel with the pool on well tamped level dirt and put the top two perpendicular to the pool level with the ground. I feel like that would work but I wanted to get some feedback. Thank you.

Should be fine. The 4 inch blocks are usually found in the masonary supplies with cinder blocks and such.
