Pal Color Touch PCR-2D-35 not working

Hello,
I have a Pal Color Touch receiver/driver PCR-2D-35 lighting system with 2 multi color lights connected to it. I opened the pool 2 days ago and when power from the breaker box came on, both lights lit up very dimly on their own.
I tried to turn them off by the remote, no response. I would turn the breaker off and on, they would come on the same way.
I read if I turn the breaker off for 24hrs,it would reset itself, I tried it now it's completely dead, nothing comes on
Remote has new batteries and is operating. There is power going through the circuit board, I see the red power light on when I opened to check the wiring
I don't know what else to do next, totally puzzled what happened to it during the few months of winter, it was operating fine all season last year

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated

I have the exact same problem. Same scenario as yours. Had an electrician come out and said too much voltage is coming from the receiver. He thinks the unit is bad. I have tried to call PAL directly with no response. I have tried to find the 2d 35 to replace online but can not find that specific model.

This happened once before and I was able to send the unit back to PAL and they replaced it. I'm wondering if this specific model has a defect due to this being the replacement and it is doing the same thing as the first?

I too have the exact same problem. I’m on my second 2d-35, as well, and it too has now stopped working altogether. Can’t find find a replacement in stock anywhere and PAL has been completely non responsive to any emails or voicemails. If anyone happens to make contact with PAL, or finds any inventory, please advise. I’ll be sure to do the same.

I saw in another thread where someone purchased a 2d-60 since the 2d-35 has been discontinued. I’m waiting for a response back to see how this new receiver/driver worked out.
