Painting a diving board & stand
Okay having the pool renovated as we speak. The diving board is in great shape. It was just dirty so i cleaned and scrubbed it with bleach. Almost looks new. The stand had paint peeling everywhere on it and rust spot. So i put a wire wheel on my grinder and went to work. Now my dliemna is paint. I want to paint it tan to match the new pool better then white. I had planned to use some oil based rustoleum. Is that a good choice or should i use something else? Also spray or brush on? And also can the fiberglass board be painted to match? Cant find any info on tfp for that question but when i google it there a quite a few people who say its fine and they did it. Seen answers say just use a pool plaster paint brush on light coats.
