My husband ordered borax from Amazon to put in the pool (we just had a huge storm) but they accidentally sent us 99.6% pure Oxalic Acid. He didn’t pay attention and poured about 20 lbs of it in our pool. It’s milky. Our pool has plaster. Now what??? Please help what to do. Thank you!

I looked up information about this and it seems it is used as a cleaning product. It shows as fairly toxic and dangerous. Hopefully one of our chemists will come along and comment. You are seeing the effects of calcium precipitating out of your water. Looks like it might be neutralized with chlorine.
