We just bought a home with an in ground pool. We realized after the first few rain falls that the over flow drain was clogged. We were able to get it unclogged but it still isn’t working. After some research, we found found where the water is supposed to come out when the pool overflows (right outside the Lenai) and I think the problem is that where the hose comes out is higher than the water in the pool. Almost like it’s doing the opposite effect, the water in the yard is draining into pool, not draining the water in the pool into the yard. I’m thinking this is how it got clogged in the first place. Now I am trying to figure a way to fix it. Any help/ideas would be super helpful!! I’m overwhelmed and completely lost on how to fix it and we are gone for two weeks soon. I’m worried about it overflowing when we r gone.
