I have someone who's gonna stop by and make sure the pool isn't empty (lol) Might also ask him to dump a jug or two of chlorine in if needed.

As for the settings, last year I dumped enough CL before I left to bring it up to SLAM level and pumped my SWCG up a little to let it slowly come down. When I came back other than running the pool robot and scrubbing a bit to get the dirt out, the pool was great.

But that was only a week. Thoughts?

I raise to near slam fc & set the swcg to replace normal daily loss & put a floater in with a couple pucks incase the power goes out or the swcg doesn’t work for some reason. I tether it so it can’t get stuck.
I set my bot to run every day on its normal schedule & the person who comes by checks the skimmer and for major obvious problems - like a big stick in the pool/debris from a storm or a leak.
I have a camera on the pool so I check in every day to see that the pool came on & the bot is running as planned.
So I can call in assistance if necessary.
If I were going more than a week I would either run the bot less or ask them to swap the basket.

I went on an 11 day vacation in May. I didn't do a thing to the pool. I know from experience that I can go weeks without doing anything to the pool. If it's properly running when I leave, it likely will be running properly when I get home. Sure, the SWG or pump could go out. My SWG actually did go out last week. If it does, I'll treat the water when I get back. A broken pump would be different. If my neighbor texts or emails me that the pump is squeeling, then I would tell him to throw the breaker and I would deal with the pool when I got home.

Hi, what pool vacuum do you have? Does it self deploy and self retrieve and return to a charging station? (I'm new to all of this and worried about going on vacation for two weeks)

Never had to so far this year.
K then. There's your answer IMO. 😁

Ph is a long term concern anyway. If it was to run high on week 2, no harm will be done by the time you get home.

It's a calculated risk to mess with what's been working before leaving.

I have a maytronics nautilus cc.
It has a cable (not cordless so no docking required).
It runs on automation mode (only certain models have this) which allows me to use a smart plug to turn it on/off from my phone anywhere I am with an app.
It runs on a schedule I set perpetually instead of the built in weekly scheduler that must be reset each week. I can also turn it off/on anytime.
It just lives in the pool during pool season- its controller/power supply is mounted inside of a deck box to protect it from the weather.
Here he is just starting his morning run!
