Oh my goodness, it's finally finished! (Minus landscaping, etc). My sweet littles have been waiting patiently for over a month, and it's finally complete! Our youngest son has autism, and water is his true love (honestly, it's mine too). It's hard to take him to do a lot of things b/c we never know how he will react- so we decided to create a staycation instead of taking a gamble on an expensive vacation.
We upgraded from a soft side 14ft to a 24ft hard side. I ordered almost everything from Pool Warehouse, and we are very pleased. Aside from shipping delays from the freight service (we ended up going pick up the pool ourselves!), everything was great. Took a couple of weeks longer to get than I had hoped, but well worth the wait.
We started off trying to install ourselves, but after 2 weeks of ground prep and renting equipment- I decided enough was enough and we hired out for the install. Best decision we made lol.
It's a 24ft x 54" round pool, 15,000 gallons- it's massive compared to what we had!
