Opening

Last year was the first season with my current pool.. Today I took my water's temp..it is at 52. All the ice has melted inside. My weather app has about 2 nights in the coming week and a half that will dip into 30's at night. Is it too soon? And yes..I'm super exited to get it going.. This is what it looked under the cover today.. Sneaked my phone through the skimmer.

Definitely not too soon. You want to open before the water gets above 60. A couple nights in the 30s are nothing to worry about ... just run your pump at night if the temp gets around freezing.

I opened mine on Monday to crystal clear water. It needs swept but I'll do that on Saturday.

Took the cover off and opened to this..

Only snag so far is this leak under the skimmer..I think that gasket is toast..

After circulating the water for awhile my numbers are:
Water temp is 54
FC- 9
CC- 0
PH- 7.0
TA- 140
CYA- 40
