I let the pool become a swamp this winter because of personal things going on in our lives. Last year we kept up with the minimal maintenance and opening was easy. Not so much this time.
I started with the slam and killed the growth. It is no longer green and it’s blue again. I’ve been running my dolphin S200 daily for weeks and it’s still pulling up tree debris. The pool is directly under pine trees. The green line you can see on the stairs is pine pollen, not algae.
latest water chem is: FC 7, CC 1, TA 60, PH 8, CYA 0(!!).
I put some trichlor tabs in the feeder to start building CYA back up. My normal sanitizer is liquid bleach 12.5%. I’m not sure what is causing the cloudiness, the particles must be very fine because a glass of water appears clear.
Any ideas?
