I'm 79 retired Plumbing Contractor. I have owned ingrown gunnite pools of my own for over 40 yes 40 years. I had to turned the maintenance over to a local pool company. Like alot of pool owners as kids get older the pool gets less use. Easier to care for and maintain. But sooner or later something new creeps up you need advise on. Thanks Roy

Hi Roy, I'm new here, and have an inground pool built in 1981- It used to have a PoolMaid whip cleaner system. I want to resurrect it and cant seem to find any good resources that might give me a clue as to how they were installed. The cleaner/Valve system is still in good working condition, but no hoses... Also, it seems that along the way, someone plugged the main drain. I currently have it drained and doing a retile and recoat job, so I can get to things pretty easy. Going to try and remove the plug when I refill and see what happens! Any insight you might have is really valuable.
