I have an old sport I'm attempting to keep alive....crazy....I'm being stubborn.
In any case I found this thread awhile ago: Polaris 9300 failed troubleshooting motor box
It was very VERY helpful.
Problem is I haven't been able to track down a replacement wheel motor, specifically the Mabuchi RS-385PH-10280 DC Motor 24V 150mA.
Apparently it is no longer made and I can't even find a 10280 speed to matching it :9
So, obviously being too thick....and one wheel motor is working, I bought a set of 5 (thinking I might be able to make them work with the 9300), 5 X Mabuchi RS-365 Electric Motor w/ Knurled 2.3 mm Dia. Shaft - 8500 RPM - 24 V, from Ebay
Thinking 8500 rpm is close to 10280
Then I hit another issue. The motors I purchased have a Knurled 2.3 mm shaft.....but....no flywheel??....(not sure what it's called on the end of the shaft!)
Furthermore....I can't remove the flywheel from the old motor and don't really want to damage it.
Any ideas or thoughts??
Thanks in advance!!
