Old metal coping questions: where can I get the joint covers, and can I paint the coping?

I have some metal coping around my pool, and the joint covers are all old and broken or gone. Where can I get new ones?
Also, can someone tell me about making it look better? What are my options without removing it?

I was able to piece together one of the joint covers. I haven't been able to find one like it on the internet. Doesn't help I have no idea what kind of pool I have!
I saw post on here Restored Buster Crabbe, aluminum coping, coping clips, etc..... where he was able to create his own from metal. I might have to go that route.

A couple of things.
1) You can certainly fab new joint covers out of metal if you're handy.
2) You could have them made by someone with a 3D printer. If you go that route be sure to get good measurements.
3) You can paint the coping, but it takes a good bit of prep work. I would buy paint and primer especially made for aluminum. I'd also buy masking tape with the plastic sheet already applied.

I think with 3D printed covers and a good paint job, you could make it look new.
