I have a intex 20 foot pool 7000 gal with sand filter
using the tf-100
FC 5 dropping to 2.5 or 3 at the lowest for the last 2 weeks
CC 0
ph 7.2
TA 80
ch 50
cya 20 or 25
my ph and cya where beater but dropped after all the rain we had.
I keep the solar cover on when not in the pool and my Chlorine uses is not to bad

I am going to add some more stabilizer to get my cya back up.
am I just not running the filter long enough? or could there be something else going on?

Three things might be happening.

1. If you have an intex filter and pump, I would run it 24/7.....they're underpowered.

2. It's possible your FC has slipped a little too low and you have some algae in there that is making it cloudy or dull but not yet green. Perform an OCLT to see if you are losing FC overnight.

3. Pools like to "breathe". Don't cover it ALL the time. The sun actually helps a pool get rid of some contaminants. I would say at least 2-3 hours daily of sun.
